Fused silica glass has a high transmittance from ultraviolet to near-infrared (185nm-00nm), and has a high transmittance in the deep ultraviolet region, making it widely used in ultraviolet lasers. In addition, compared with ordinary optical glass, fused quartz glass has better uniformity and lower thermal expansion coefficient, making it particularly suitable for applications in the ultraviolet to near-infrared wavelength range, high-power lasers and imaging fields.
